I’m going to try to cover a lot of ground in a short space of time, take you through the whole animation process from start to finish, so that’s all the different disciplines within the world of animation. Animation is a broad term, it has endless amounts of different specialisms within it, its very versatile so it can be made in almost unlimited ways. Its art and its moving, so its very endless. So animators wear many different hats. When someone says they’re an animator, that usually means their also a screenwriter, story boarder, character designer, illustrator, painter, sculptor, photographer, video editor, and filmmaker in general, and the list goes on. So with that in mind, I want to give you a taste of all the main parts of making an animation, which are screenwriting, pre-production, and animating.
