This was a fun music video commission. The American band, Jupiter In Velvet, wanted me to make something wacky for their new song, Mars Aint That Far. They wanted something like the old 60s Cartoons (Scooby-Doo), involving a red Cadillac flying its way to Mars.

I tried to do something more conventional with this one, more focus on characters and believability, rather than abstract motion and crazy techniques. As a result I learned a lot about animating in this way, finding it very satisfying and engaging.

I only had around 6 weeks to make this from start to finish, if I had more time I would have focused more on design and storyboards. I also had amazing help from my friend Efa B-M, she made the awesome backgrounds, which really set everything off and bring it all together.
